Glenn
Henning Tournament Results
By John Hrovat
It was a beautiful
Saturday morning in June with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in
the 75 to 80 degree range by noon. (This was a far cry from last year’s
cold and rainy day)
Eight fishermen and women entered this year’s event. As nice as the day
was, the fish were not cooperating. Only six northerns and six bass were
registered. The bass were in the shallows on their beds but not biting.
Those big pigs, Carp, were also working in the shallows. This year’s
dubious honor of the smallest fish registered went to Charlie Benson, a
12 ounce northern. You might laugh, but it did put him in the winners
circle.
Thanks to all who participated and Benson’s Hide Away for the use of
their facilities.
Hope to see you back next year.
